I’m so incredibly sad to hear about the passing of Steve Jobs. An absolute genius who’s brilliant ideas evolved into an empire that paved the way for artists to flourish. I will be forever grateful. RIP.

These brilliant boys from Saskatchewan just landed the cover of The Rolling Stone and they’re going to be huge!! Listening to them propels me to the mid-seventies when rock/soul/blues was at it’s finest. Another stellar band putting Canada on the map. So, so proud!

I love love love this Ryan Adams song and was inspired to cover it after hearing a stellar rendition around a camp fire recently.
Carolina In My Mind (Cover) - James Taylor
I covered this song tonight in anticipation of the incredible evening to come with THE Mr. Taylor. Hands-down one of the greatest songs ever written.
* As a follow-up to this, the concert was incredible and I actually got to meet and talk music with James Taylor AND he asked for my information to check my music out online. Best night of my life so far! Just a mind blowing experience!
